Donald Trump says…
Before I go into some of the points Donald Trump made today at the Learning Annex Real Estate and Wealth building convention, let me first acknowledge that WILLIAM R. PATTERSON also said some of these same things during the Web Business Ownership Series segment.

Here are some of the ones I thought were pretty insightful: (My Paraphrases)
1) Follow your gut instincts and Don’t be afraid to take chances.
Most often, we ignore our inner voice which is our God-given guide. Trump says, TRUST YOURSELF. Playing it safe won’t always give you the results to be successful. Sometimes, second-guessing yourself will work against you.
2) Think BIGGER.
Going after a small goal means that you have to think bigger than your goal in order to get it.
3) Don’t waste your time on menial things.
We are on this earth but for a short time, and why waste precious time when you can be using it to grow your business or make money.
4) Work with the best people, but be suspicious of all of them.
In a nutshell, everyone wants to become successful. The higher you get, and the more money you make, the more people will want what you have. Keep a watch on your finances as much as possible, and be sure to check on the progress of all of your projects. Thus, the true meaning of - “It’s lonely at the top”.
5) If you hate what you’re doing, then you should stop doing it.
Simply put, we are all here for a purpose and probably not to be miserable. Therefore, if you find that you are doing a job that you hate, or own a business that you don’t believe in - find something else!
6) Don’t back down EVER!
If people think that you’re a pushover, you’ll never get respect. Always address issues up front and quickly. Owning a business requires time and dedication, so don’t let anyone downplay your efforts and accomplishments or threaten the livelihood of your business. Sometimes showing a little muscle is needed.
7) Success is a mindset.
If you don’t believe in yourself, why should anyone else. People follow LEADERS. Therefore if you are not presenting yourself with complete confidence at all times, why should anyone follow you?
8) Network.
Who you know DOES count. In the business world, sometimes you will need to go places and do things for the sake of saying “Been there. Done That.” It may seem like posturing, but as long as you are giving “face time” and networking with people who will be able to help you grow your business or make money - who really gives a damn what other people think.
Now, as soon as I find my notes from John DeMartini of The Secret, I’ll post those too.
